B.3 Design Fire The design fire is taken as the combined fire load of an EPS core sandwich panel roof system and Design Fire 1 in accordance with Section 4.7.1.1. For the EPS core roof system, a heat release rate per unit area (HRRPUA) of 332 kW/m2 is adopted which has been derived from bench-scale fire testing that was conducted by the University of Queensland and is FRONT VIEW SIDE VIEW 6 m 2.95 m 4.9 m 4 m 2.7 m 5 m 6 m Upper surface of roof is a burner with constant HRRPUA of 332 kW/m2 Site boundary 10MW Peak HRR fire A B D C FRONT VIEW SIDE VIEW 6 m 2.95 m 4.9 m 8 m 2.7 m 5 m 10 m Upper surface of roof is a burner with constant HRRPUA of 332 kW/m2 Site boundary 10MW Peak HRR fire A B D C SENSITIVITY CASE: WIDTH OF AWNING INCREASED BY 100%
