  FDS Assessment 
B.1 Introduction 
An FDS analysis is undertaken to assess the combined heat transfer to the site boundary for the 
DeltaDualCore™ system when compared to the DtS base case. 
B.2 Model Geometry 
The model geometries for each of the three FDS models use are described in Figure 5-3, Figure 5-4 and 
Figure 5-5 and include: 
1. 
Model 1: DtS base case. 
2. 
Model 2: DeltaDualCore™ awning with equivalent dimensions to Model 1 (performance solution 
case). 
3. 
Model 3: Sensitivity case where the width of the awning in Model 2 is increased by 100%.
