REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VARIOUS BUILDING CLASSIFICATIONS 
AS STATED IN THE NCC2022
Notes:
[1]: Subject to compliance with BCA C1.9 and Spec C1.1. Not suitable for use as external wall, common wall, loadbearing internal wall,  
      non-loadbearing internal wall required to be fire-resisting etc.
[2]: Prohibited for use  on a Class 2-9 building of Type A or B construction in any external wall insulation and finish (rendered) system –  
      including as an attachment (QDC 2.5)
[3]: May require confirmation of compliance with BCA C1.9(e)(vii) from a building certifier if used as an external wall (or shaft wall in the 
      case of Type C or Type B construction only).
[4]: C1.9 allows the use of combustible material for internal walls if not required to be fire-resisting and if not otherwise required to be  
      non-combustible under Spec C1.1. 
[5]: May not bridge the junction of a fire rated wall, ceiling or roof
