Newsletter September 2024 CHANNEL SEVEN’S RENOVATION COMPETITION SERIES Congratulations to Liam from Outback Chippy for winning Dream Home, Channel Seven’s latest renovation competition series. Liam has been a wonderful customer of ours for severa l years, and we are delighted that as part of his dream home vision, he chose to use Del ta Panels. When asked about his ex perience, Liam told us "Channel 7's Dream Home was life changing! I joined the show with my brother as it was a once in a lifetime opportunity I couldn't pass up, a chance to renovate my family home and also have the possibility to w in some money for my brother was a no-brainer, the show has set us up for life! My brother and I made it to the top 3 contestants, to compete for the best backyard for a chance to win the 100k winnings. It was a gruelling week and we had to work around s o many different layouts to avoid existing sewers throughout the yard. I personally have us ed Delta Panels on many of my projects throughout my career, so I was so excited when I got the chance to use them for my Dream Home. Originally the builder had planned for a standard rafter style roof design for the outdoor entertainer area, but with my experience with Delta Panels, I knew I could level up this are a with a insulated roof panel, making it the perfect entertaining area for QLD heat. This was something the judges really liked, not only understanding the QLD heat and the benefits from an insulated panel, but the pitch we were able to achieve allowed us to matc h the internal raked ceiling. The panel coming pre-finished saved us so much time and mon ey due to the easy installation and overall finish, we completed the alfresco in 2 days, which is incredible. If you missed the show, my brother Rhys and I did in fact WIN the BEST backyard!
